The project “Santander Visión Prospectiva 2050” continues its journey across the department’s territories, and this time it will arrive at the UIS Barbosa campus. On Wednesday, October 29, at 5:00 p.m., a space for collective reflection, dialogue, and participatory construction will take place to discuss the future of our region.
This initiative, led by the Universidad Industrial de Santander (UIS), aims to listen to communities, recognize their realities and potential, and jointly build a sustainable and inclusive vision for the year 2050.
Through this effort, UIS promotes an open process of citizen participation, where academia, the productive sector, public institutions, and civil society join forces to envision and plan the territory with a strategic and long-term perspective.
The University invites the entire community from the southern part of the department to take part in this dialogue, which will help identify the challenges and opportunities of the territory in social, economic, environmental, technological, and cultural areas.
