Laura Parra Téllez, a resident in the postgraduate program in Gynecology and Obstetrics, took second place in the resident poster category at the “Fifth National Obstetrics and Gynecology Research Competition,” held on August 9 in Bogotá.
The research project, titled “Clinical Results of Uterine Evacuation by Voluntary Termination of Pregnancy According to Gestational Trimester at an Institution in Bucaramanga,” earned the UIS student recognition from the Colombian Federation of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
