José Orlando Blanco Lozano, a UIS microbiologist who graduated in 2017 and specializes in food safety, has extensive experience in research, teaching, and quality management. He will be the next guest on Coffee with Alumni.
His experience has been largely as a professional at CICTA, the UIS Center for Research in Food Science and Technology, as a secondary school teacher, analyst, and metrologist, and currently as technical director. In addition, he has training as an internal auditor in the ISO/IEC 17025 standard and experience in its implementation.
His career combines science with management, always with the aim of contributing to quality, safety, and continuous improvement in processes.
