For the first time, the School of Physical Therapy held a gowning ceremony for physical therapy students under the slogan “Hands that heal and gowns that commit to serving with science, ethics, and empathy.”
The investiture, with the uniform and white coat, marks the beginning of a new stage in the professional training of physical therapy students at the Industrial University of Santander.
This ceremony symbolizes the transition from the basic and disciplinary cycle to the final stage of professional training.
In total, 21 students took the commitment and oath to begin teaching-service practice, a scenario in which knowledge and commitment to action, ethics, empathy, and continuous learning are applied.
