The Industrial University of Santander (UIS), through the Institute for Regional Outreach and Distance Education (IPRED), invites the region’s entrepreneurial community to participate in the 20th UIS Entrepreneurs Meeting: Stories of Entrepreneurial Families, to be held on Saturday, 20 September, from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., in the Agora of the Virginia Gutiérrez de Pineda Building, located on the UIS Central Campus in Bucaramanga.
The event will feature a guest expert who will offer an in-depth analysis of the role of family businesses in the economic and social development of the region, highlighting their importance as a driver of growth and sustainability.
In addition, the forum ‘Between Challenges, Innovation and Legacy’ will be held during the day, in which members of the UIS community will share their experiences, challenges and lessons learned regarding family entrepreneurship. This space for reflection will seek to highlight how collaboration between generations strengthens innovation, preserves traditions and contributes to regional progress.
The UIS extends an invitation to the entire university community and the general public to be part of this celebration that recognises the strength of entrepreneurial families and their impact on social transformation. The combination of personal experiences and academic knowledge promises to generate an enriching and meaningful encounter for all attendees.
