The Industrial University of Santander, Málaga campus, through its Forestry Engineering and Animal Husbandry programs, invites the academic, research, and productive sectors to participate in the First International Meeting on Biotechnology and Sustainability for Productive Ecosystems (EIBISEP), which will take place on October 27 and 28, 2025, as part of Agricultural Sciences Week.
This event seeks to consolidate a space for dialogue, reflection, and exchange of knowledge around the fundamental role of biotechnology as a tool for the sustainability of productive ecosystems in agricultural, forestry, aquaculture, and environmental contexts.
EIBISEP 2025 will feature the participation of prominent national and international speakers, as well as significant experiences, academic exhibitions, and spaces for coordination between academia, the productive sector, and communities. The event will be held in a hybrid format (in-person and virtual) in order to facilitate access from different regions of the country and abroad. Participation will be completely free of charge.
Call for papers and posters
The call for abstracts for oral presentations and academic posters is now open, with a deadline for submission of September 5, 2025. The best papers will be selected for publication in a book of abstracts with an ISBN registration.

Climate change, adaptation, and ecosystem resilience
