The Universidad Industrial de Santander (UIS), through its Faculty of Human Sciences and the School of Law and Political Science, invites students, professionals, and the general public to take part in the “AI and Law: Regulatory Proposal + Judicial Use” Colloquium, a virtual and free event addressing the growing impact of artificial intelligence on the legal field.
The colloquium will take place on April 21, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., in an online format with open access.

The event will cover key topics such as the regulation of artificial intelligence in Colombia and the debate surrounding the “cyborg judge” and constitutional review, offering critical insights into how emerging technologies are reshaping legal systems.
The session will feature professors Jorge Cáceres Malagón (Private Law) and Diego Hernández Velásquez (Public Law), along with special guest María Paula Ardila Corzo, a graduate of the UIS School of Law and Political Science.
