With a total of 391 votes, equivalent to 42.421%, and 237 votes, equivalent to 19.652%, William Oswaldo Carvajal Suárez and Ana Sadday Torres Rincón were elected as the new student representatives to the Tuition Committee for the 2025–2027 term.
The total number of votes cast for the Tuition Committee was 1,206.
The verification of results was carried out at 4:12 p.m. on Thursday, September 18, in the presence of the Electoral Committee, candidates, and observers, online via the Teams platform.
The election was conducted through electronic voting on the institutional website www.uis.edu.co, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The election process for this representation was convened by Resolution No. 1211 of August 4, 2025, issued by the Rector’s Office.
The verification of results was carried out at 4:12 p.m. on Thursday, September 18, in the presence of the Office of the General Secretary, the Head of the Financial Division, and the Student Representative to the Academic Council, via the Teams platform.
