UISALUD consolidates alliances and presents its 2026 roadmap to its Provider Network

On Wednesday, December 3, starting at 7:00 a.m. at Casa Arámburo, the Specialized Health Unit of the Industrial University of Santander (UISALUD) held a socialization and strengthening event for more than 100 representatives of the Health and Medication Service Providers Network. The purpose of the meeting was to consolidate inter-institutional coordination, share the results of the 2025 management plan, and present the strategic lines that will guide joint work in 2026.

The event was attended by the director of UISALUD, Dr. Santiago Ramírez Segura; Deputy Medical Director Dr. Hermes Ávila; Deputy Administrative and Financial Director Dr. Heidi Cáceres; and Quality Coordinator Dr. Olga Romero, who presented institutional progress, volume indicators, achievements in health risk management, and improvements implemented in infrastructure and installed capacity.

Director Santiago Ramírez highlighted that this meeting allowed us to “close out 2025 and plan, together with our contracted network, the strategies that will enable us to move forward in 2026. We presented the figures, achievements, and new capabilities of our Unit, as well as strengthening the relationships that are essential for continuing to grow as a network.”

During the meeting, issues of quality and current regulations were addressed, and a space for dialogue was created to resolve operational concerns. Attendees also took a tour of the UISALUD facilities to see firsthand the areas, services, and equipment that strengthen comprehensive care for users.

For Marta Liliana Hijuelos Cárdenas, representative of IPS Habilitamos SAS – Therapy Center, the meeting was experienced as “a transparent accountability session, in which we highlight the empathy of the management and administrative team. We left satisfied with the clarity of the information and the trust that the entity places in its providers, as well as with the attention given.”

Likewise, Gloria Ortiz Ortiz, deputy manager of the Fiscal Complex, emphasized that “UISALUD has always been known for its commitment to patients and providers. Constant communication and institutional support facilitate efficient service delivery and allow us to close the year with clarity in regulations and billing processes.”

The meeting reaffirmed UISALUD’s commitment to working closely with its network, promoting quality care, and strengthening processes that contribute to the well-being of its users.
