
With the commitment to continue strengthening academic excellence and student performance, the Universidad Industrial de Santander (UIS), through the Vice-Rectory for Academic Affairs, the Advisory Committee on Performance Evaluation (CADED), and the Academic Excellence System (SEA), will hold a series of preparatory talks for the 2025-2 Saber Pro and TyT Tests, to be held from Thursday, October 30, to Friday, November 7, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., via the Zoom platform.
These sessions are designed to strengthen the generic competencies assessed by ICFES, provide feedback on the UIS Saber Test results, and offer practical tools to help students reinforce knowledge and improve their question-solving strategies.
The cycle will feature expert professors in each area:
- Quantitative Reasoning, led by Professor Adolfo León Arenas
- Critical Reading, led by Professor Gonzalo Ordóñez Gómez
- Written Communication, led by Professor Luis Fernando Arévalo
- English Competencies, led by Professor Laura Dueñas Angulo
- Citizen Competencies, led by Professor Orlando Pardo Martínez
This initiative aims to provide UIS students who will take the tests in the second semester with an academic support and motivation space, reaffirming the institution’s commitment to comprehensive education and quality learning.
