
Professor Esperanza Herrera Villabona, director of the Pain Study Group and CPK Seed Group, affiliated with the School of Physical Therapy, participated in the XV Latin American Pain Congress Fedelat and XXXIII Colombian Pain Congress, held in Bogotá from October 16 to 18.
At the congress, she presented a paper entitled: “Relationship between supra-threshold pressure intensities and pain perception: a pilot study in asymptomatic young people,” directed by Professors Esperanza Herrera Villabona and Lida Maritza Díaz Plata, and developed by seventh-level physiotherapy research students.
Simultaneously, these students participated in the ENSI 2025 Research Seedbed Meeting, organized by the University Foundation for Health Sciences, where they presented a poster entitled: “Standardization of algometry in the scapula and trapezius lift. Pilot test,” linked to the same work.
