UIS opens its stages: major call for institutional artistic groups 2026

Danzas UIS

The Universidad Industrial de Santander (UIS), through its Cultural Affairs Office, launches a call that promises to fill university spaces with art, music, dance, and theater. This is the official opening of registrations to join six of its institutional artistic groups — a unique opportunity for students, faculty, and staff to turn their talent into high-impact cultural experiences.

From urban sounds fused with tradition to Afro-Colombian roots, including theater, choral singing, and folk dances, UIS invites its community to take an active role in university cultural life and to represent the institution on local, national, and international stages.
