The Industrial University of Santander continues to establish itself as a national leader in the training of healthcare professionals. This time, the Nursing program ranked second in Colombia in the 2025 Saber PRO exams, placing it among the best in the country with an overall score of 174.

The result is even more significant when considering that the program competed against 65 universities nationwide, confirming the academic quality and institutional commitment to training professionals of integrity, competence, and deep human compassion.

In addition to its outstanding second-place national ranking, UIS Nursing took first place in the country in Critical Reading, demonstrating its students’ ability to rigorously analyze, interpret, and understand the challenges of their profession and society.

These achievements were also reflected in other competencies evaluated by Icfes. The program ranked second nationally in English and third in Civic Competencies and Quantitative Reasoning, results that demonstrate a comprehensive education that combines academic excellence, critical thinking, and social commitment.

This recognition is the result of the collaborative efforts of students, faculty, alumni, and administrators, who work every day to strengthen an educational initiative focused on quality, innovation, and a positive impact on communities.

With this achievement, the UIS School of Health reaffirms its academic leadership at the national level and continues to train professionals capable of transforming health systems and contributing to the well-being of Colombian society.
