The 37th edition of the Electrocardiography training program has concluded. This continuing education course, led by Professor Oscar Leonel Rueda Ochoa—a faculty member in the Department of Basic Sciences at the School of Medicine—has become a benchmark of excellence in northeastern Colombia.
This cohort stood out for its interdisciplinary nature, bringing together students of Medicine, Nursing, and Biomedical Engineering from the Industrial University of Santander (UIS) and the Autonomous University of Bucaramanga (UNAB).
The program not only strengthens electrocardiographic and clinical competencies but also extends into the realm of innovation. Currently, the initiative has the strategic support of UIS Emprende and is linked to the entrepreneurial platform under its Modality 1.
This milestone reinforces the UIS’s commitment to supporting projects that transform knowledge into solutions with market potential.
We extend our congratulations to the new graduates, who now have advanced tools for diagnostic interpretation in the service of healthcare.
