More than 2,000 high school students from urban and rural schools, as well as nearby municipalities, gathered at the UIS Barrancabermeja Campus to participate in a new edition of Expouniversidades, the university fair organized by ASPAEN, which this year held its 18th version.
Over two days, Thursday, July 17 and Friday, July 18, more than 50 higher education institutions of national and international standing presented their academic offerings to tenth and eleventh grade students, who toured the various stands in search of vocational guidance and opportunities for their professional future.

Meanwhile, Juan David Flórez, shared: “It was a great experience. Besides learning about different universities, I really enjoyed visiting the UIS labs and spaces. It really motivated me to continue studying.”
The fair also served as a bridge between the university and the educational community, where teachers, guidance counselors, and students engaged with public and private universities, fostering an enriching environment for academic exchange and career decision-making.
