From November 4 to 7, the Industrial University of Santander and its regional campuses will experience three days of activities and great experiences.

“Educate to transform, live to heal, know to coexist” will be the slogan of this edition of U25 Fest, organized by the Faculty of Sciences, Faculty of Health, and IPRED.

This year’s theme comes from Mission 6.0 UIS, “Knowing to grow as a community,” agenda 4, which consists of three main areas: 1. Quality education, 2. Healthy living, and 3. Coexistence in democracy.

DAY 1 – Educate to transform: educate for life, quality education with a human touch. “Transformative and meaningful education, the future we dream of is born in the classroom.”

Objective: to explore how quality education shapes critical, conscious citizens who are committed to their reality.

DAY 2 – Living to heal: bodies that inhabit knowledge, well-being, health, and integral consciousness. “Healthy living, emotional health, and self-care, caring for the body, caring for life, caring for knowledge.”

Objective: to promote self-care and mental and physical health as pillars of student and collective well-being.

DAY 3 – Knowledge for coexistence: coexisting in democracy, critical citizenship, ethics, and collaboration. “Democratic culture, ethics, and participation; coexisting also means transforming democracy from everyday life.”

Objective: to promote a civic culture based on respect, justice, and transformative collective action.

During these days, there will be a conference with presentations and scientific posters, museum collections, experiential workshops: self-care, mental health, mindful eating, caring for bodies of water and alerts (macroinvertebrates and quality indicator species), disease prevention in humans and other species: representative cases. Pedagogical prototypes area: stands, apps, games, murals, and film forum: “Stories of Care.”
