With a total of 300 votes, equivalent to 33.146%, César Luis Blanco Álvarez, and with 264 votes, equivalent to 29.204%, Miguel Eduardo Alvarado Rodríguez, were elected as the new student representatives to the Human Rights and Conciliation Committee of the Universidad Industrial de Santander.
The total number of votes recorded in this election was 904.
The verification of results took place at 4:06 p.m. on Friday, March 27, 2026, in the presence of the Secretaria General, Sofía Pinzón Durán, as a member of the UIS Electoral Oversight Committee, acting as the official scrutineer of the process, which was conducted through the Teams platform.

It is worth noting that the election was conducted through electronic voting on the institutional website uis.edu.co, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The election process for this representation was called through Resolution No. 314 of 2026.
