
The School of Law and Political Science of the Universidad Industrial de Santander (UIS) invites the entire academic and professional community to participate in the Open Lecture: Labor and Pension Law Reforms, an academic event that seeks to generate a space for analysis and discussion on recent regulatory changes in the country. The event will be held on August 4 at the Hormiga hall of the UIS Bucarica headquarters.
This initiative is developed in coordination with the Legal Clinic and Conciliation Center UIS and the Line of Micro-entrepreneurs Employers, and will address issues of high legal and social relevance, from the hand of experts with extensive experience in the judicial field.
During the conference, the following special guests will participate:
– Edwin Danilo Ortega Martínez, legal professional, who will analyze the Pension Reform (Law 2381 of 2024), in a speech scheduled from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 m.
– Jorge Alonso Moreno Pereira, labor judge of the Bucaramanga circuit, who will present his vision on the Substantial Reform (Law 2466 of 2025), from 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
– María Fernanda Lozada, labor judge of small causes of Bucaramanga, who will present the scope of the Procedural Reform (Law 2452 of 2025), from 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
The Open Lecture is an opportunity for students, teachers, graduates and legal professionals to learn first-hand about the impacts and challenges of recent reforms to the Colombian labor and pension legal system, in a rigorous academic space, open to dialogue and critical thinking.
This event is free of charge and with free admission, so active participation of the university community is expected.
