The International Congress on Shoulder and Elbow Surgery, which is held every three years, is considered “the World Cup of the shoulder” and brings together all the scientific societies worldwide that specialize in shoulder and elbow conditions.
Professor José Luis Osma Rueda, MD, a specialist in shoulder and elbow surgery, was appointed as a member of the scientific committee for the World Congress, which will hold its 16th edition this year in Vancouver, Canada, from September 22 to 25, 2026.
“It is an honor and a source of pride for me to have been appointed to this committee because I represent the comprehensive expertise and academic and scientific competencies of shoulder and elbow surgeons in Santander and Colombia,” said Dr. Osma.
