
On December 3, a virtual meeting was held between the School of Nutrition and Dietetics at the Industrial University of Santander (UIS) and its counterpart at the University of Chile, with the aim of advancing joint actions focused on the student mobility program and establishing strategies for academic cooperation agreements and dual degrees for the program.
This meeting is part of Project No. 4: Management for internationalization opportunities and dual degree agreements, an initiative that promotes the strengthening of the international projection of the School of Nutrition and Dietetics, the expansion of academic networks, and the design of shared training routes between partner institutions.
This valuable meeting, backed by the current agreement between both institutions, opened up new possibilities for international student mobility, strengthening academic collaboration and the exchange of training experiences. The School reaffirms its commitment to comprehensive training with a global perspective that promotes learning, innovation, and links with other realities in the field of nutrition.
The School of Nutrition and Dietetics continues to consolidate strategic alliances that project it onto the international academic stage, strengthening academic exchange, dual degree programs, and expanding training opportunities for students and teachers.
On behalf of the UIS, the meeting was attended by Alberto Ángel Martín, director of the School of Nutrition and Dietetics; Martha Lucía Cáceres Jerez, academic coordinator; Sandra Milena Bueno, professor at the School; Liliana del Pilar Castro Molano, director of the Office of External Relations; and Nidia Jaimes, mobility coordinator.
Meanwhile, the University of Chile was represented by Iluany Pohlmann, director of the School of Nutrition and Dietetics; Nathalie Cecilia Llanos Rivera, deputy director of the School of Nutrition and Dietetics; Daniela Ghiardo Soto, head of the Student Mobility Program, Nutrition and Dietetics Degree Program; and Ximena Alemany, undergraduate mobility coordinator of the International Relations Office of the Faculty of Medicine.
