The Postgraduate Department and the School of Mathematics at the Industrial University of Santander (UIS) inform the academic and professional community that registration is now open for the twelfth cohort of the Specialization in Statistics, a postgraduate program aimed at providing data analysis methodologies and tools applicable in multiple fields of knowledge.
This postgraduate program offers professionals from different disciplines solid training in three fundamental areas:
• Theoretical training, based on the fundamentals of probability, statistics, and the mathematical foundations that underpin analytical techniques.
• Continuous practice in data analysis, through the study of real cases that strengthen students’ statistical thinking.
• Management of specialized statistical packages, which allow students to respond to academic and professional demands in different contexts.
The Specialization in Statistics lasts five quarters, is taught in person at the UIS central campus, and provides advanced training for those who wish to expand their skills in data analysis and interpretation.
