With the aim of ensuring that no student is left out of their courses or has their academic progress affected, the Industrial University of Santander (UIS) announced the official opening of the course add/drop and enrollment adjustment process for the 2026-1 period, aimed at students from the Bucaramanga campus.
The process will take place from Wednesday, January 28 to Friday, January 30, from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., through direct assistance from Schools and Departments via Zoom rooms specially enabled for this purpose.
During these days, students who have experienced enrollment issues or who need to add, drop, or change course sections (with proper justification) may do so without these changes being counted as withdrawals for the academic term, representing a key opportunity to properly organize their academic workload.
The University reminded students that they can check their academic schedule to find their assigned day and time slot to complete the process, and that the full list of links to the virtual assistance rooms will be available through institutional channels.
Through this initiative, UIS reaffirms its commitment to timely support, student well-being, and academic retention, providing agile and accessible solutions to its university community at the start of the 2026-1 semester.
