The School of Law and Political Science at the Industrial University of Santander (UIS) invites you to attend “International Current Affairs Debate Series: Trends in international law on gender and sexuality” on Friday, August 15, at 10:00 a.m.
The virtual event, open to the general public, will bring together three renowned academics and specialists in the field: Mónica Arango Olaya, PhD in Law from the University of Oxford; Mauricio Albarracín Caballero and Olga Velázquez, PhDs in Law from the University of the Andes, who will share their perspectives and analysis on the current advances, challenges, and debates in the legal field surrounding these issues.
The activity seeks to promote informed and critical dialogue on human rights, gender equality, and sexual diversity, with a focus on international law and its impact on local contexts.
