Jorge Arturo Duarte Prada, a graduate of the Nutrition and Dietetics program, is the new manager of the E.S.E. San Juan de Dios Hospital in Betulia.
Dr. Duarte Prada is also a specialist in Project Management and embodies the values of commitment, social responsibility, leadership, and dedication to service that guide the education of our students.
His professional career exemplifies the impact that UIS graduates have in their communities, contributing to the well-being, public health, and social development of local communities.
In this regard, the director of the School of Nutrition and Dietetics, Professor Alberto Ángel Martín, stated: “It is a source of great joy to see how our graduates take on important leadership challenges in the service of the community. We extend our congratulations to Dr. Jorge Arturo Duarte Prada, his family, and the Betulia community on this significant achievement. We are confident that he will carry out this new responsibility with integrity, human sensitivity, managerial skills, and a deep commitment to public health.”
