profesores e investigadores participantes del XXII Congreso colombiano de cáncer

Nutrition in the context of immunotherapy, artificial intelligence applied to oncology, immuno-oncology, and patient-centered care were the central themes of the 22nd Colombian Cancer Congress, which has established itself as a high-level academic forum by bringing together leading national and international experts to discuss cutting-edge topics.

At this important event, held in Bucaramanga from March 19 to 21, the School of Nutrition and Dietetics at the Industrial University of Santander made an outstanding contribution through its faculty members Claudia Milena Ardila, Sonia Patricia Gamboa, and Alberto Ángel Martín, who shared insights based on scientific evidence and clinical experience in emerging fields such as the interaction between nutrition, microbiota, and immunotherapy in the treatment of cancer patients.

Their contributions highlighted the strategic role of new nutritional therapies as an essential component of a comprehensive approach to cancer, strengthening the School’s academic standing and reaffirming its commitment to knowledge generation and innovation in the field of health.
