Through Resolution 1424 of 2025, the Industrial University of Santander (UIS) authorized a special work schedule for administrative public servants assigned to the institution’s various departments and academic-administrative units.
According to the resolution issued, on Friday, September 12 and 19, 2025, the workday will be from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon.
Please note that the normal working hours (7:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon and 2:00 to 5:00 p.m.) will be maintained for the reception of correspondence through the various institutional channels, including the single correspondence window.
This measure does not apply to employees of the Specialized Health Services Unit (UISALUD), who will enjoy the entire day of Friday, September 19, as Family Day. For this reason, there will be no customer service at the Unit’s facilities on that day, and the necessary measures are urged to be taken to ensure the continuity of health and insurance services.
The resolution also establishes that, for administrative purposes, the aforementioned days are considered working days. During these dates, department heads must ensure adequate service to the public through approved institutional channels, as well as the reception of correspondence during normal business hours.
In the case of departments such as the Library, Student Welfare, the Certification and Document Management Office (one-stop shop), and others that must attend to previously scheduled activities, work shifts may be organized to ensure the proper provision of services.
