In an emotional celebration led by the Faculty Council and attended by professors, students, graduates, and administrators, the Faculty of Health celebrated 59 years of institutional life.
Almost six decades have passed since February 25, 1967, when that collective dream began with a clear purpose: to train professionals of integrity, committed to science, ethics, and humanism.
During these 59 years, the Faculty of Health has been a cradle of knowledge, a setting for rigorous research, a territory of community service, and, above all, a training ground for thousands of professionals who today honor the UIS seal with excellence in Colombia and around the world.
Thanks to the visionary leadership of its founders, the tireless commitment of its professors, the transformative enthusiasm of its students, and the ongoing support of its administrative staff, we can proudly say that the Faculty of Health continues to grow, innovate, and transcend.
