Participate in the 8M Academic Forum: a space to highlight the economy that sustains life

As part of the commemoration of International Women’s Day, the School of Law and Political Science at the Industrial University of Santander invites the entire academic community and the general public to participate in the 8M Academic Forum “Visibilizing the economy that sustains life,” a forum for reflection and dialogue on the value of care work and its fundamental role in social and economic sustainability.

The event will take place on Monday, March 9, at 9:00 a.m. at UIS Bucarica – Salón Hormiga, and will be open to students, teachers, professionals, and anyone interested in understanding how care economies sustain daily life and why it is urgent to recognize and dignify them.

During the event, an academic and critical conversation will be promoted to highlight gender gaps, analyze current challenges, and propose concrete actions that contribute to a more just and equal society.

The forum is organized by the Gender Cross-cutting Line of the Legal Clinic and the School of Law and Political Science of the UIS, as an institutional commitment to equity and social transformation.

Your participation is essential. On March 9, join the dialogue, contribute your perspective, and help make visible the economy that sustains life.
