The School of Law and Political Science invites to participate in the Workshop on Social Oversight and Citizen Watchdog Committees: Community Leadership and Participation – Advocacy from Diversity, a space for learning and dialogue aimed at strengthening civic participation, community leadership, and citizen oversight tools.
The workshop will take place on March 18, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Salón La Hormiga, UIS Bucarica. The event is free and open to the public, and is intended for community leaders, students, social organizations, and anyone interested in promoting inclusion, participation, and active citizenship.
The event is organized by ConPazEs with the support of the School of Law and Political Science of the Industrial University of Santander (UIS), as well as the Faculty of Human Sciences, as part of their commitment to strengthening participatory democracy and civic education.
During the session, participants will explore practical tools to promote citizen oversight, strengthen community processes, and encourage social advocacy from a diversity perspective.
