
The use of artificial intelligence in selection processes, international networking strategies and the skills most in demand by employers were key topics during the Latin American Employability Congress 2025, organized by Magneto365.
The event was attended by Universidad Industrial de Santander (UIS), through its Institutional Alumni Program; Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana (UPB), Universidad Externado de Colombia, Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas (UPC), Universidad Autónoma del Noreste (UANE) Mexico, Universidad EAFIT and Universidad Latinoamericana (ULA) Mexico.
It brought together more than 1,800 attendees and experts from all over Latin America to discuss the challenges and opportunities of the labor market in the region.
During the Congress, the UIS was recognized for its commitment to the comprehensive training of its graduates and its leadership in employability initiatives. David León Esteban, professional of the UIS Alumni Program, was the closing panelist of the event. In his speech, he shared reflections on the role of universities in preparing professionals for a changing work environment, and highlighted the importance of adaptability, continuous training and connection with the business ecosystem.
“Employability is not only about getting a job, but also about building a sustainable and meaningful career path. At the UIS we work so that our graduates are prepared to lead that path,” said León Esteban.
The Latin American Employability Congress 2025 was consolidated as a space of reference for the exchange of good practices and the construction of alliances between educational institutions, companies and professionals from all over the region.
