This time, the UIS celebrates the appointment of attorney and alumna Lizette Carolina Perea Pineda as the new Judge of Chamber 09 of the Administrative Court of Santander, after successfully completing a rigorous merit-based selection process.

Achieving this position through a merit-based competitive exam and being able to stay in Santander proves to me—and to all of us—that public education truly transforms lives. It really is possible,” she said.
