The Industrial University of Santander (UIS) invites the university community with musical talent to participate in the second Call for Applications to form the UIS Symphonic Band, one of the institution’s most representative artistic spaces.
This initiative is aimed at students with experience in playing wind and percussion instruments who are interested in strengthening their artistic training and becoming part of the cultural groups that enrich university life.

The UIS Symphonic Band has established itself as a venue for training, promotion, and cultural exchange, where music becomes a language that unites the academic community and strengthens institutional identity. Joining this artistic group represents an opportunity to develop musical skills, collective discipline, and participation in high-level cultural processes.
Auditions and registration process
Auditions will be held on Thursday, February 12, 2026, from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m., at the UIS School of Arts.
