With the aim of strengthening communication skills such as reading, writing, orality and argumentation in the student community, the tenth edition of InvEsLec, an academic space organized by the School of Languages of the Universidad Industrial de Santander (UIS), will be held.
“This is an event aimed at disseminating the work of our undergraduate students and other disciplines of the university, around communication and micro-research processes. In this edition we have more participation from areas such as engineering and health, which fills us with pride,” said Paola Lopez, professor of the School of Languages.

The inaugural day included lectures, presentations and working tables, which addressed topics such as pedagogy through audiovisual tools, gamification and the use of memes in learning.
“I presented a visual proposal that offers a reflection on childhood and old age, highlighting how these two stages, although they seem distant, share several similarities,” said Juan Osma, a student of Bachelor of Arts in Literature and Spanish Language.

The exhibitors highlighted the quality of the program and the commitment of the participants, valuing these types of spaces as fundamental for the academic and professional growth of the students.
“I consider that this event is key to recognize student work, which has the support of teachers. In our case, we were able to share the background of a project we developed, showing how structured it can be,” said Daniela Roa, student of the Bachelor’s Degree in Literature and Spanish Language.
InvEsLec X will run until next Thursday, June 5. See the complete program here:
