At the Auditorio Luis A. Calvo and the Auditorio Principal del campus UIS Floridablanca, forums with the candidates for the election of the student representative to the Consejo Académico for the 2026–2028 term will take place on Tuesday, May 12, and Wednesday, May 13.
Esteban Yesid Puerta Corzo, an Economics student; Daniel Eduardo Naranjo Garzón, a Mathematics student; and Nicolás Fernando Martínez Sandoval, a Mechanical Engineering student, are the candidates in the process that will determine the representation of this sector of the UIS community before the University’s highest academic authority.

The election will take place on Thursday, May 14, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. online. At approximately 4:06 p.m., after the vote count is completed, the name of the new student representative to the Consejo Académico for the 2026–2028 term will be announced.
