With a total of 287 votes, equivalent to 58.691%, Daniel Alexander Osorio Buitrago was elected as the new male student representative to the Gender Equity Policy Committee of the University for the 2025–2027 term.
A total of 489 votes were cast in this election.
The results verification process took place at 4:06 p.m. on Wednesday, November 12, in the presence of Secretaria General, Sofía Pinzón Durán; la directora de Bienestar Estudiantil, Mary Lupe Angulo de Meza; el Jefe de la División de Gestión de Talento Humano, Juan Camilo Lésmez; el Decano de la Facultad de Ingenierías Fisicomecánicas, Johann Farith Petit Suárez, members of the UIS Electoral Committee, who served as scrutineers for the process carried out through the Teams platform.

It is worth mentioning that the election was conducted electronically through the institutional website www.uis.edu.co, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The election process for this representation was called by Resolution No. 1603 of 2025 and Resolution No. 1726 of 2025.
