The Student Welfare Office at the Industrial University of Santander (UIS) informs its students that, from Monday, January 26 to Friday, January 30, 2026, registration for the cafeteria service for the 2026-1 academic period will be open. The procedure must be carried out exclusively through the institutional website.
The available places approved by Agreement 094 of 2016 and its amendment by Agreement 007 of 2017 of the UIS Higher Council are as follows:
- 1,000 for breakfast
- 2,500 for lunch
- 2,064 for dinner
Steps for registration:
- Go to the UIS website: uis.edu.co
- Follow the path: Student / Student System / On-campus Undergraduate / Student Welfare Services / Dining Services / Registration.
- Select the desired service: breakfast, lunch, dinner, or the combination you prefer.
Once registration is complete, you will receive a confirmation email with the dates on which you should check whether you have been awarded the service.
Places will be allocated by Student Welfare professionals, in accordance with the criteria established for the following categories:
- Priority users
- First-level users
- Students in vulnerable academic situations
- Members of cultural groups and sports teams
- Interns and students in healthcare placements
- Students in academic exchange programs
- Other users
The cafeteria service will begin on Monday, February 2. Please also note that 10% of consecutive absences or 15% of sporadic absences on working days during each service period, without a justified reason in the cafeteria system, will result in the immediate loss of service.
