Atlético Mineiro delegates inspected the Primero de Marzo UIS Stadium

On Thursday, July 17, the match between Atlético Bucaramanga and Atlético Mineiro will take place, reason why delegates of the Brazilian team visited the Primero de Marzo Stadium of the UIS to check the current state of the sports scenario, in order to host the training that this team will carry out in Santander.

During the tour, the state of the grass was evaluated, as well as the dressing rooms, areas that were praised by the visitors for their excellent condition.

Atlético Mineiro is based in Belo Horizonte (Brazil), capital city of the state of Minas Gerais. The team was champion of the Copa Libertadores 2013 after beating Olimpia of Paraguay and last year was runner-up in the continental tournament after losing the final against Botafogo.

In 2025 they are playing in the Copa Sudamericana and in the group stage they finished second in zone H, below Cienciano of Peru, so they will face Atlético Bucaramanga with the goal of winning their place in the round of 16 of the competition.

The Brazilian team is expected to arrive in Bucaramanga this Tuesday and train on Wednesday at the Universidad Industrial de Santander facilities, just as Colo Colo of Chile and Racing of Argentina did in this 2025.
