The academic excellence of the Industrial University of Santander continues to make its mark at the national level. The Physical Therapy program ranked second in Colombia in the 2025 Saber Pro exams, establishing itself as one of the country’s leading programs in the training of healthcare professionals.
With an overall score of 177, UIS Physical Therapy ranked second among 66 programs evaluated nationwide, a result that confirms the quality of an academic program focused on the scientific, human, and ethical training of its students.
This outstanding performance was also reflected in the generic competencies evaluated by Icfes. The program ranked second nationally in English and Critical Reading, as well as third in Civic Competencies and Quantitative Reasoning, demonstrating a comprehensive education that transcends disciplinary boundaries.
This recognition reflects the commitment of students, faculty, alumni, and administrators, who contribute to the ongoing strengthening of an academic program oriented toward excellence, innovation, and the well-being of individuals and communities.
These results help establish the UIS School of Health as one of the leading institutions in Colombia and reaffirm the University’s role as a national leader in training professionals capable of bringing about positive change in the health sector and in society.
