You can register for the academic vulnerability case study for the 2025-1 canteen service until November 7.

UIS student, register to find out if you are part of the academic vulnerability group. Keep in mind that this group includes users who, due to situations derived from family, economic or social circumstances, are at risk of losing their status as undergraduate students due to poor academic performance.

Vulnerability criteria to apply for study:

-Student with a diagnosis of malnutrition, endorsed by the Health and Psychosocial Development Section.

-Family Economic Unit (U.E.F.) lacking a link to the social security system in the contributory system (father and mother not contributing).

-Father or mother deceased in the last year.

-Father or mother deprived of liberty.

-Students orphaned on both parents’ side.

Member of the U.E.F. who suffers from a high-cost disease.

-U.E.F. member who needs permanent care at home.

-Students who are single mothers or single fathers with dependent children and live with them while attending the University.

-Students linked to the state strategy for overcoming extreme poverty, Red Unidos.

Indigenous peoples, Afro-Colombians or Afro-descendants, Raizal and Roma.

Steps to register on the UIS website:

1. Enter the web page www.uis.edu.co / students / face-to-face undergraduate. Enter your UIS student code and personal password. Select the current academic system:

*Pregrado presencial sede UIS central.

*Barranca.

*Socorro.

*Malaga.

*Barbosa.

2. Student Welfare Services.

3. Dining services.

4. Enrollment.

5. Vulnerability study request.
