The Industrial University of Santander (UIS) announced that from February 5 to 12, the registration process for student housing will be open. This benefit is intended to support students who require accommodation or financial assistance to continue their academic training.
For this period, the University has 10 places available, distributed as follows: six for women, located in the downtown building, and four for men, on the Central Campus.
The registration process must be carried out exclusively through the institutional website, following these steps:
- to www.uis.edu.co.
- Go to the Students / Student System section.
- Log in with your code, academic program, and password.
- Select the path: University Welfare Services / Student Services / Benefits / Register for the Student Residence Benefit.
Requirements
To apply for this benefit, students must meet the following requirements:
- Have an academic activity equal to or greater than 11 credits, or have taken and passed all the subjects in the curriculum and be enrolled in Thesis II.
- Have passed a minimum of 22 credits, which is equivalent to having completed and passed the second academic level of the degree program.
- Have a cumulative GPA of 3.40 or higher.
- The place of origin and residence of the family unit must be outside the Bucaramanga Metropolitan Area, preferably in a rural area.
- Have no current disciplinary sanctions or notes on your resume.
- Have tuition fees less than or equal to three times the minimum tuition.
