
The Industrial University of Santander (UIS), through its School of Mechanical Engineering, announced the opening of enrolment for the Diploma in Sustainable Construction and Energy Efficiency in Buildings, an academic programme aimed at strengthening professional skills in the design and development of environmentally responsible and energy-efficient buildings.
The diploma course will be delivered in a blended format, with 75% online and 25% face-to-face, allowing for flexibility without losing the practical component and direct interaction. The course will have a total duration of 128 hours, covering key concepts and tools for addressing the current challenges in the sustainable construction sector.



Registration will be open until 20 March 2026, and as part of its commitment to the university community, the UIS will offer a 20% discount for undergraduate students at the institution, with 12 places available.
This diploma course seeks to respond to the current needs of the construction sector, promoting practices aligned with energy efficiency, environmental sustainability, and technical innovation, in line with global trends and current regulatory requirements.
