UIS Launches the 2026 ICT Portfolio to Strengthen Academic Innovation

In accordance with the Policy for Supporting Education through Information and Communication Technologies, the Academic Vice-Rector’s Office of UIS announced the launch of the 2026 ICT Portfolio, a strategy aimed at strengthening teaching and learning processes at the institution.

The call invites the university community to review the terms of reference (ToR) and participate in the different modalities planned for this year, available through the institutional website.

AVA-TIC 2026

This call seeks to strengthen the design, implementation, and improvement of Virtual Learning Environments (VLEs) on the institutional Moodle platform. To this end, it includes the assignment of student assistants to support initiatives proposed by faculty members who teach undergraduate academic activities.

The deadline for submitting applications through the online form is April 7, 2026, at 12:00 p.m.

INNOVA-TIC 2026

With the purpose of promoting the development and implementation of didactic innovation initiatives through ICT tools in undergraduate education, this call aims to address the challenges of the new educational era. Its focus areas include digital literacy, problem-solving, creativity, personalized learning, global collaboration, and the strengthening of digital competencies.

Applications may be submitted until April 17, 2026, at 12:00 p.m.

OVA-TIC 2026

The OVA-TIC 2026 call is aimed at contributing to the strengthening of virtual classrooms that support teaching, learning, and assessment processes through the design, development, and implementation of Virtual Learning Objects (VLOs).

In this case, the application deadline is March 10, 2026, at 12:00 p.m.

With the launch of the 2026 ICT Portfolio, the University reaffirms its commitment to digital transformation and the strengthening of innovative pedagogical practices that respond to the contemporary dynamics of higher education.
