The School of Chemical Engineering at the Industrial University of Santander (UIS) has opened applications for its students to participate in the UREP-C (Undergraduate Research Experience Purdue – Colombia) program, an initiative developed in partnership with Purdue University in Indiana (United States).
The program is aimed at students in their penultimate and final academic years, who will have the opportunity to undertake an academic and research stay at one of the world’s most renowned universities for its excellence in science, technology, and innovation.
The call for applications will remain open until October 8, 2025.
Participation requirements
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
Be an active student at the UIS School of Chemical Engineering.
Have a cumulative GPA of 4.0 or higher, or be in the top 25% of their cohort.
Demonstrate a minimum English level of B2.
Be available to travel between February and August 2026.
Have no academic or disciplinary sanctions on record.
