The School of Nutrition and Dietetics held a symbol imposition ceremony for students beginning their integrated training practices.
This event marks a milestone in the students’ professional training. The imposition of symbols represents the transition from theory to practice, from classroom learning to real commitment to the people, communities, and society of the country.
Upon receiving the adipometer, students commit to ethical, rigorous, and respectful nutritional assessment of the human body. In turn, the plaques represent their identity as future nutritionists and dietitians and their pride in belonging to our School of Nutrition at UIS.
“We are confident that this step marks the beginning of a responsible, humane, and committed professional practice dedicated to promoting health and well-being, always honoring the values that distinguish our School and our University,” said Professor Alberto Ángela Martín, director of the School of Nutrition and Dietetics.
