School of Microbiology held its first symbol presentation ceremony

Estudiantes de práctica profesional I y II

The start of professional internships represents a key moment in the training of future microbiologists and bioanalysts, signifying a transition to the practical application of the knowledge they have acquired.

With this symbolic and emotional act, the Microbiology School Council recognized the importance of the start of professional internships as a significant event in professional training and highlighted the work and commitment of students who are already doing professional internships and are about to graduate.

The 13 students in professional internship II received material with the institutional logo, as a symbol of the knowledge they will continue to build, and as a memento of their place of study, and a plant that represents the different stages of life: the ability to adapt, to resist in difficult times, and to grow even in adverse conditions, reminding them that, even on the most demanding paths, it is always possible to flourish.

In turn, 43 students in their first year of practical training received white coats as a symbol of professionalism, knowledge, and scientific rigor.

During the speeches given by professors and students, it was emphasized that “those who wear the white coat demonstrate or express their professional training and ability to handle samples, perform analyses, and issue reliable and ethical results. Instilling respect and credibility. It symbolizes a commitment to scientific truth and rigorous experimental methods that seek reliable results in any field of work.”

Family members, friends, parents, students, administrative staff, and professors witnessed the students’ oath and their commitment to social service.

Good luck in the beginning and continuation of your professional practice!
