In order to explain the rights at the end of life, the Specialized Health Unit of the Universidad Industrial de Santander (UISALUD) will hold the forum “Myths and realities of the right to die with dignity”, on March 18 at the Aula Máxima de Ciencias. The purpose of this event is to clarify the essential concepts about death with dignity, promoting respect for autonomy, human dignity and integral wellbeing.
The activity will include the participation of four experts on the subject:
- Dr. Azucena Niño.
- Dr. Omar Fernando Gómezese.
- Abg. Diego Hernandez.
- Dr. Felipe Suárez.
During the event, topics such as the Colombian legal context, definitions and concepts, ethical aspects of the right to die with dignity, among others, will be discussed in depth. In addition, there will be a space for the resolution of doubts and the exchange of opinions among the attendees.
