Registration is now open for the 2026-I Chair in Peace, Coexistence, and Citizenship

With the aim of strengthening spaces for academic and civic reflection on the construction of a more just and peaceful Colombia, the School of Law and Political Science at the Industrial University of Santander is now accepting registrations for the 2026-I Chair of Peace, Coexistence, and Citizenship, an initiative that invites the university community and the general public to engage in dialogue and learn collectively.

In this edition, the Chair will focus on Agrarian Justice, addressed as a fundamental path to reconciliation, social equity, and peaceful coexistence in the territories. Through this academic space, critical analysis and the exchange of knowledge about the historical and current challenges of the Colombian countryside and its relationship with peace will be promoted.

The lecture is open to students, teachers, administrators, and interested individuals, regardless of their institutional affiliation, and seeks to foster active, conscious citizenship committed to social transformation.
