The Journée Pédagogique Cogiler 2025 had the participation of the Universidad Industrial de Santander, through the representation of Professor Edga Mireya Uribe Salamanca, attached to the School of Languages of the UIS and president of the Colombian Association of French Teachers (ACOLPROF).

This high-level academic event, organized by Cogiler and supported by the French Embassy in Colombia, brought together more than 100 French teachers from different regions of the country, as well as international experts, editors, journalists and representatives of French cultural diplomacy.

The event was inaugurated by Sébastien Portelli, attaché for educational and linguistic cooperation of the French Embassy, who highlighted the importance of the French-speaking School Seal program.

Professor Uribe Salamanca offered an institutional intervention as representative of ACOLPROF, in which she shared advances in the articulation of French-speaking educational networks in Colombia. This participation evidenced the commitment of the UIS to academic leadership at the national and international levels in the processes of promoting multilingualism, multilingualism and interculturalism.

It also reflects the strategic role of didactics and pedagogy in foreign languages in the internationalization processes of the UIS, strengthening its global projection and its links with key players in the Francophonie.
