The Industrial University of Santander (UIS) continues to strengthen its position as a national benchmark in higher education. The Ministry of National Education has renewed the High-Quality Accreditation of the Microbiology and Bioanalysis program for eight years, through Resolution No. 002147 of January 28, 2026, reaffirming the academic, scientific, and educational strength of this program, offered in on-campus mode in Bucaramanga.
This decision also implies the automatic renewal of the program’s Qualified Registration for the same period, ensuring its continuity and strengthening its academic projection. This official recognition is the result of a rigorous process of self-evaluation and continuous improvement, demonstrating the coherence between professional training, research, and the social commitment that characterize UIS.
“We proudly celebrate this achievement, which reaffirms our institutional mission and the positive impact of our programs on regional and national development,” said Rector Hernán Porras Díaz, congratulating the School of Microbiology, the Faculty of Health, and all the units that made this recognition possible.
With this accreditation, UIS reaffirms its commitment to excellence, educational quality, and the training of highly competent professionals in service of society.
