On February 13, 2016, the first edition of Informativo UIS, the institutional news program produced by the Communications Department, was published.
Each week, it brings together the most significant and noteworthy institutional actions, events, and achievements in university life, reflecting the strengthening of institutional work in the areas of teaching, research, and outreach.
“We take care of coverage with our journalists, there is daily monitoring, and we record it with our cameras, both photo and video,” said Juan Manuel Esparza Barajas, audiovisual producer for the Communications Department.
This institutional news program has been broadcast weekly since 2016, with the exception of 2020, the year of the pandemic, and has become one of the most representative products of the media outlets of the Industrial University of Santander.
The program is published every Tuesday morning on the University’s YouTube channel and Facebook account. It is also broadcast on Thursdays and Fridays at 5:00 p.m. on the Zoom Channel.
